Clio 200. After a disappointing drive of a Clio 182 Cup (driving position is truly dreadful) this is one my list for the summer with a bit of luck.

Saw a really well specced Scirocco GT TDI DSG this morning, if I was doing more miles would definitely consider one

I disagree.

I really think that looks, well, wrong. It does not quite gel together in the way I would expect a maker like VAG to produce.

I do not doubt the car is the work of some highly qualified design graduate who went to automotive styling skool and everyfink, but it does not look that way.

It looks like something an amateur would do.

It's just not quite right.

I keep passing these, there's a few of them kicking about where I'm based. The early chrome bumper cars with tiny lights.
I'm really starting to get fond of them. I reckon I could pick one up for about the price of a telly.

This is what I'm presently obsessing about:

Photoshop's come along way since then.

In the mean time:

Fiat Panda 100hp - These little boxes keep coming to mind when I look for potential next cars. I feel that they tick a lot of boxes and decent examples are cheap and plentiful.

The recent thread on here hasn't helped either. irked

The Vantage V12 keeps playing on my mind and at the other end of the scale, a Panda 4x4 TwinAir is very appealing.

Do it. Or the M6. The V10 is to die for!

TVR Chimaera. Not for me, for Dad. He's interested in one, and I'm not going to let him forget! wink

So far I've administered V8 therapy, playing different clips of them as he's walked past. I plan next to decorate his study with different pictures of them - I've also sent him numerous links to different adverts (and he's been on Fernhurst's website too which is good!)

B6 S4 wagon. What more could anyone possibly need. And by anyone I mean me. Chuck the downhill bike in the back / on a rack. V8 noise, fun enough handling, and nobody would ever think I'm a dick in a chavved up Jap thing.
