Today its my own car, almost back together after 7 months of lying underneath it. I will let you guess what it is (without cheating and looking at my profile.... tongue out )

I love how squeaky clean it looks. I'm guessing umpteenth man hours were spent getting it to that stage? Top work.

One of these with the supercharged engine. I had sorted a deal out on one but it fell through today. The search continues.

Looking through the classifieds at 9-5 HOT's and wondering in anyone would take a straight swap. Don't really do much 'cornering' these days but anything waftier I think I'd miss the shove and overtaking ability. Am wondering if one of these would be just the ticket.

I've been looking for one of three possible cars to buy next. I know which engine I want, the VAG 1.8t (for the tunability, not for the scene). I know the spec I want, Leather and a nice stereo. However im torn between which platform to get one in. The A3, A4 or Octavia mk1. A golf commands too much on the insurance for the power and is too common. A Laurin Klement Octavia is cheapest to insure but hard to find and are at the higher end of my budget. The Audis are readily available seemingly at any budget but dearer to insure.

1st world problems tonight balancing the potential most go out of 1 years NCB and spending under a grand on fully comp insurance.

Surely the SEAT version would be cheaper than the other 3, and probably a better drive too.

They're quite hard to find in that combo - most people who opted for the read leather seem to have chosen black or silver paint
