So what car have you been obsessing about today?? (Vol 2)

If I had a reason to do long journeys all the time, that would be the car.

I love them. I often think of getting one as a replacement for my 106 Rallye when it goes the distance. The only thing that would worry me would be the complex suspension system going tits up, I wouldn't have a massive deal of faith in your average Citroen dealer being able to fix at all. Or actually make it worse.

The car I think of most these days:

Odd thing is - I'd assume he'd be upset with the dealer but he just swapped it for a C5 because he said the dealer went WAY above and beyond but the car simply wasn't going to be convinced to 'just work properly'
I'll concede to not being massively enthused with the initial aesthetics or ethos, and still think that the name's a bit gay - but after viewing the initial reviews and listening to the noise it makes on track...
I wonder if that, despite all its tech, it'll manage go down as being the "fizzier" less sterile equivalent to the P1, that the 458 was to the 12-C.

I really wanted this car to be rubbish... It (apparently) really isn't. And there was me thinking I'd pick the 918!I wonder if that, despite all its tech, it'll manage go down as being the "fizzier" less sterile equivalent to the P1, that the 458 was to the 12-C.

Much as I love them - chap up the street from here had one and despite loving it 80% of the time, the other 20% was a nightmare of petty bullst like "dropping windows" - "failure to start" - "random need to stop/restart the car when driving to make things WORK" etc. etc.
Odd thing is - I'd assume he'd be upset with the dealer but he just swapped it for a C5 because he said the dealer went WAY above and beyond but the car simply wasn't going to be convinced to 'just work properly'
It's a shame. - Punters won't buy because of the reputation but unless punters buy, there won't be any more big Citroens. Good man
I'm absolutely infatuated by the S Zero at the moment. To me the perfect blend of every NSX ever made; with the looks of the NA1 cars, the 3.2 litre V6, the same suspension as the NA1 type-R NSX and a 6 speed manual! Makes it faster than the NSX-R and probably a better all round road car (being not as hard core as the NSX-R). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbZ00YXJ1Xg
Just need to pray that when I get into a position to seriously consider them they won't be in 6 figures!
