I think I just had palpitations. That's just beautiful.

Further down the scale, there's a GT86 near me that I can't afford this year because we need some building work done... tempted though. Might look at something similar next year instead, if blearyeyedgirl can be persuaded* that we don't need rear doors...

* blearyeyedgirl has never been persuaded in several years, so more realistically I'll be looking at hot hatches and nice saloons. I can admire GT86/BRZ's though!hehe
It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission. smile

Liking the 308Gti should be sufficient grounds for divorce. hehe

redcardtongue out
wink

Hey, the Pug sounds better than failed GTi's of years gone by and has a pretty low kerbweight to boot. RWD coupé delicacy it won't be, but I think it could be more fun than a Focus ST or Leon Cupra and less shellsuit-chic than a Civic Type R. wink

Today I`ve been mostly chugging over R34 GTRs.

I am in a position to buy if I choose but I just cannot get my head round £35k for a 14 year old car with possible corrosion/ various issues.

This very boring CR-V

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Low-Mileage-2000-Honda-C...

Seems like a good buy, and I like to obsess about the affordable.

Appears to be the very limited Cooper edition.

Thanks for the offer but I'll be running this until I'm 110 then I'll probably be too old to get in anything else

In February I get access to my pension , I'm working on the theory it'll be an investment worth millions when I retire in 10 years

Just got to convince my wife now.

I so want a Maserati

Singer (again)

Nothing more worthy of a PHers' obsession than a Singer, myself included;

At 33 y/o, I've only recently started to appreciate classic/ retro coolness, and these Singer 911s represent the very best (pseudo?) retro motoring with little compromise.

Would have one of these over just about any modern alternative now. Not bad for a (mostly) rehabilitated Jap scene fanboy imho... still very fond of a tastefully modified mkiv Supra though:

An excellent manual TT is out there for me at ~£10K, for another year or so at least...

Seem to be none in the UK though, so not much point trawling the classifieds.
