So what car have you been obsessing about today?? (Vol 2)
Discussion
Either an Insight or a Prius for the car obsession, because I know one of them will be on my drive next year:
But what I'm really dreaming of is a Super Blackbird. I always dream of these, somewhat different than my current T595 Daytona (16mph faster too). I just love the fact that they look like a jet plane. That sleek, pointed noise, the stacked headlights, the compact cockpit. Fantastic design.

Had two Blackbirds (Carbed and injected) some years back but now drive a Prius Well the wife does and so do I if my car needs fuel But what I'm really dreaming of is a Super Blackbird. The evo wont like to run on gas as much as the Merc
How come?Obviously it all depends on how well the car is set up and mapped for both fuels.
I'm leaning more towards the Evo X now as an E55 won't be anywhere near as fun in the twisties. Hopefully I'll be able to find the right example in spring next year.

I'm quite looking forward to a hybrid next year. As long as it gets Radio 4 it'll do me for getting work. I'll be putting plenty of fun miles on my Daytona too, I hope, but I must try a fuel injected Super Blackbird.BarbaricAvatar said:
A pretty regular obsession for me.
AC 3000ME.
I realise it's not going to set the world on fire performance-wise but it's unusual and pretty; two of my favoured qualities in both cars and women.

You're not alone. Quite like the idea of a Ac with a modern V8 conversion
As usual, it's the big-engined M3-bodied E30s. I know they're supposed to be a bit nose-heavy, and lack the race-pedigree of the S14-engined regular M3s, but that doesn't stop me wanting one more than a lifetime's supply of Jaffa Cakes!
