^ Good work that man! Never driven one but had a poke around one. They look even better in real life than they do in photographs.

Never since the Citröen DS has a road-going model been so ahead of its time.

Serious question. I'm 6'2, will i fit in any of these?

Anyone over 5'11 actually tried?
I'm 6'2". I kid myself I fit in the later cars. Just.
Roger Moore is 6'2". Surely that's all the reason you need to buy one?
(I suspect he was never inside one for longer than needed for a closeup camera shot.)
It's dependent on torso / leg length ratio too not so much exact height. The seats don't go back that far and the recline is negligible from memory. I fitted enough, but there was no way I could have worn a helmet and got it on a circuit.

I still want one - the solution on the later cars is a lightweight racing seat or removing some stuffing from the standard seat.
Thanks for the responses. I suspect my legs are too long, but will try before buy regardless!

After the classy posts on the beautiful Lotuses (Lotii?) I would like to confess of a hankering for something very 'council'. biggrin

I am not orange and I am not married to a footbalist, I don't wear leopardskin, but I do like a ridiculous shoe now and then. Is liking this monstrosity the start of a slippery slope?

It even has a terrible number plate! I just love it! hehe

Very tempted to put a deposit down on a Focus RS. Currently taking orders for late summer, early autumn now, and I want to change come next October. Only problem is the awful colour options! Think black with silver wheels is winning...

Really been thinking seriously about another 350Z in the new year, this time the coupe rather than roadster. I have been thinking mainly about a Z4 Coupe until this weekend, but to be honest, you can get into a 350Z far cheaper, and I really miss my old one, such a characterful car. Not convinced the Z4 is going to be worth the extra even though I do really like the look of those also.

I'm also six two with thirty four inside legs. My legs weren't the problem with the Esprit S3 and S4 it was head room. Having the seat far back enough for my legs and leaned back enough for my top half meant I could barely reach the steering wheel controls. You soon pick up a technique of leaning forward to indicate but it looks like your brake lights don't work.

I've mostly been obsessing over this....

Mainly because someone blocked me in and I can't get it off the driveway for a blast down my local dual carriageway.

The chap with the Megane RX4 has made another offer for my FTO. The Megane plus £300

scratchchin

Has anyone done a Zombie Prep'd RX4 yet? Winch, bull bars, LED light bar, jack up and tyres?

More seriously as the spare is on the tailgate does it still have the recess in the boot floor? I'm thinking LPG conversion for practicality sake.

Mazda Rx-8's again

Mpg not an issue as I only do about 5k a years

But the whole engine reliability and 2 stroke oil pre-mix in the fuel tank yes or no argument

If it's been looked after and driven properly the RX8 is no more or less reliable than any other sports car. I only used two stroke in 13B and 13B turbo engines the new effini ones are better but if I had one I'd be tempted. Don't do it M.O.T day though as it'll through your emissions off.
