Alpina B3 Touring.

When I said the D3 was pointless on the Alpina forum, as saving £80 a month on a car costing £900 a month isn't worth sacrificing 60bhp and a sweet straight six for, I got shot down.

I did think the level of detail for a 1:18 was uncanny!

I was going to suggest the metal flake was a bit too big to be the real thing. Impressive modelling tho!

I still really, really want one of these- but do they really have essentially zero luggage space?

After seeing the Chevette saloon in beige going around Swansea recently, and then the HS hatchback and Firenza in this weekends Harry Flatters rally (Firenza driven by Jimmy McRae no less!). Also remembering my Dads stories about his Ventora. I really fancy a slice of old school vauxhall...

You took the words right out of my mouth! Looks like a 'NICE' brand gate motor too. Proper job!

All the more reason to lust after it. An avant would almost on par for me, and a coupe would do.
Just in an ideal world, a saloon would be mine.

Get an X1/9, loads of boot space, classic insurance and a proper gearbox. wink

At the moment, I'd like these:

For getting to work in really bad weather:

A Lexus LS400 - likely to be the next car I buy.

Dreaming of a tour in Northern Scotland in one of these...

But knowing I would have more fun on one of these...

Sorry, LHD

There's not much changes to S2 chassis wise - it's a powerful engine brute, no more. You can get a snotter 80/90 and then put AAN into it for a trifle. Who really cares about authenticity after all? smile

I've got a bit a hankering for a '60s roadsport car. A TR4 would do nicely.
