When I said the D3 was pointless on the Alpina forum, as saving £80 a month on a car costing £900 a month isn't worth sacrificing 60bhp and a sweet straight six for, I got shot down.

I was going to suggest the metal flake was a bit too big to be the real thing. Impressive modelling tho!

There's not much changes to S2 chassis wise - it's a powerful engine brute, no more. You can get a snotter 80/90 and then put AAN into it for a trifle. Who really cares about authenticity after all?
