Another obsession just recently...

Grabbed me mate's keys to his E39 M5 for an hours spin, yesterday:

I need one of these in my life now after that experience. An absolute incredible car! bow
Still one of thesepaperbag.

Even been looking various exhaust packages to improve the sound https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn0USZM_nEgears

I know.

What's that all about. How can this be.. I don't know who they have hired but he's worth it. In fact give him a pay rise.

Peter Schreyer is now CEO, I believe, so that'll be why their emphasis is now on design.

Configuring a Blue Ecoboost Mustang.

I know people are going on about the V8 and V6 but this will be the first front engine rear wheel drive four pot turbo powered Ford in the UK since the original Sierra RS and RS500
The 2.3 Ecoboost is already being tuned to 500+bhp and the V8 GT350, GT500 and such will mean brake upgrades and suspension will be available from the parts bin. The Ecoboost Mustang could be the one to go for.

Best of all they'll crash in the second hand market so a 2.3 Ecoboost with a few choice RS Focus bits making a reliable 340bhp could find its way into a Se7en chassis soon. hehe

RWD, Manual, Rare, 4 Doors, Reliable + easily tunable engine, and affordable

It just ticks all the boxes.

Now if only someone would insure a 22 year old with 5 years no claims on it at a reasonable price!

Very E39 from the rear three quarter angle.

I'd love an e39 M5 due to Alex Roys escapades in one but I could not afford those repair bills so the Chaser seems like a good middle way!

I drove my crv down a potholed and rutted lane today. It was getting on for unbearable no matter how slow I went. It just couldn't handle it

Therefore I've been obsessing about this
