Thanks! Shame it's a 3 wheeler. Not a shame in the slightest. They're a hoot to drive, superb front end, rear wheel is driven and when they step out you have to be quick to catch it. I was in Dallas recently and my wife's cousin had one in the garage. It made a nice change from the Ford Excursions but not as nice as the 964 RS his friend came over with.

Grinnall Scorpion 3.
I can't believe how fast you can be for how little cash. OK, so it's not a Volvo XC90 in the safety stakes but for what it is, it's well conceived and cracking value. I'm astonished they're not more numerous/popular.
If the above Polaris Slingshot were possible to bring to Europe, that'd be fascinating too.

+twelvty squillion for the (Alpina or otherwise) Z1.Love a car with a single pervading, anomalous piece of design/ engineering/ gimmickery that makes it profoundly unique (droppy doors here for example). CRX Del Sol is naff as anything, but there are examples out there (with the right engine, spec, colour) that I would keep forever on account of that ridiculous Transtop roof. RX8 wouldn't capture my imagination half as much without those rear doors (as a more 'traditional' 2 door coupe it would've been only/ even more of a limp follow-up to the FD RX7).
Not sure where this gimmick-loving mindset comes from, as my motoring taste is generally in line with what is popularly considered to be 'good' by most PHers. Something about having a car that's a bit 'daft' or flawed out of the factory in some way appeals more than having eg the very best affordable 4-door super saloon. This Z1 over a good E39 M5 for me, which I acknowledge is stupid but make no apology for.
Nothing inspires greater 'obsession' in me more than an idiosyncratic, often unloved rarity, even if it represents a poor investment or is lacking dynamically.
