I always will buy something silly though, I would go to the dealer to get that Lexus and leave with that Alfa Spider! I like the Lancer too much to get rid of it just yet. I love the Lexus, the seats are so comfy. Ah right. I just wondered as you are always posting mid exec/rep cars and going to auctions so I just assumed you may be looking at changing.

I've always fancied a Ginetta G27: I understand they can be pretty evil in the wet, though. On a similarly note, I wouldn't say no to one of the later Marcoses: And I'm also drawn to some cut-price Italian exotica: There must be something seriously offputting about Lancia Beta Montecarlos, because you seem to be able to pick up a good one for about £4k.

Rust for one. series one had bad brake bias problems. series 2 was sorted. I nearly bought one about 15 years ago but the owner changed his mind. Was an awesome thing to drive. Loved it.

That was my assumption, but surely regular waxoyling, garage storage and avoiding salted roads would go a long way to alleviating that? That may sounds excessive, but in reality it's probably the sort of lifestyle a lot of second cars lead anyway. McAndy said: Chris71 said: I've always fancied a Ginetta G27: Paws off! I am entitled to a company car so I sometimes consider it but eventually decide I don't want a boring lump of grey 320d boredom. The auctions are just when I'm bored and have nothing to do. I love VXR8s, the noise they make is incredible!
