Merc have released 2016 g wagons in some interesting colours. I admit it I bought a lottery ticket yesterday because of this.
what is so special about a G Wagon? The only people I see driving them are rich "soccer moms" in brand new G 350's and sketchy rich Asians in a G63 ... I've never seen one older than 1 year old. It's like they dispose of them after a certain age!Tailgater said:

Who gives a toss. I don't base what cars I like on people who buy them. Strange attitude for a car forum. But normal for ph these days.
Don't buy one then.

G wagen's were once proper, functional cars..special in their own way.. But now they are just fashion on wheels.. Tacky DRL's and fat oversized wheels with naff exhaust tips and interior. There's no point trying to bling up a Motorwagen from 1899 with DRL's and diamond cut wheels on low profile tyres So why would you do that to a G Wagen? At least Land Rover kept it relatively simple and good at off roading.
Painting it orange just makes it worse
I would agree with you if it was this:
A 1989 300 GD.
The one you showed? In orange? With massive wheels and DRL's which look out of place?
No thanks and at £130000+ is certainly a rip off.
At that kind of money you could have:
