This won't be popular I can see it now.... But I think it looks superb, and it's going to be used and abused on track aswell. Miurasan, you are my new hero.

Amazing that they go to all that trouble and then fit Nankang Chinese budget ditchfinders. All about the show, no care for the go unfortunately.
The go can wait. The car is a test bed/showpiece for the man who created and designed the body kit. So that's his priority. Give him time, the performance is on it's way as performance parts manufacturers are going to join up on the build. Very much a rolling work in progress.
Seems pointless putting those tyres on if you intend to change them. Of course if dynamics were a priority, he would've fitted tyres that match the rim size correctly. I hope you're right, but I suspect it'll be a fashion victim, not a serious performance car. We'll see.
The car has a set of 16' BBS wheels with track tyres that have been fitted for track days. The Enkei wheels on it in those pics were donated as part of a sponsorship deal. Those wheels are for show only.

Decently modified e-type? Didn't expect that..

"This ’62 E-Type had been widened out in the 1970s and was still carried the original red paint from that work. Further sympathetic mechanical modifications have subsequently been carried out, giving it more of a squat, Low-Drag Coupé look."-SpeedHunters.com

I think it looks great. Adds some manliness to the beautiful curves.

It is interesting this thread, because it really is a matter of taste and taste is so subjective. I quite like this one I guess, ride height aside, but why does it look like the arch extensions were done with a nailgun? Me, I'm all for the smooth finish.

Not like that last statement is going to be misinterpreted at all. rolleyeshehe

I guess they're just going with the factory look as 2002 turbo arches were simply screwed on. Personally I prefer this look to blended arches but each to their own.
