Back in the day we used to throw away Yokohamas because they were the Nangkang of the day. I'm guessing they're just slave road rims in this case?

One thing I have never really got about the drag racing air cooled VWs. It seems they always have the fan and tinware removed.
Is there any other measure to assist cooling other than airflow of the car when driving. Surely the engine is very prone to over-heating. Is it just a one run and sit the car up to fully cool before hammering it again?

Some of them run 'squirrel' fans which are much smaller, although a fair few don't run any cooling as they don't really need it only doing a 1/4 mile at a time. They kill the motor once they've crossed the finish line and are towed back down to the pits/fire up lane by a quad bike. A couple of times I've removed my fan belt before running and have shaved a few tenths off my quarter mile times, the fan saps power from the engine.

Also the paint job on that Razor Edge is mirrored on the inside of the car, it really is awesome. Won best of show at the Volks World show a few years back beating a Beetle Kab that had over £100k spent on it

Totally road legal, it is a drag car you are quite correct, it races in the Street Eliminator series. having seen it at Santa Pod I have to say it looks even better in the metal The Turbos are the size of dusbin lids!
