Finally this Nismo kitted R34 GTR. Pretty much perfection.

I remember when the R35 came out, a standard, middle mileage V-Spec R34 was still fetching in excess of £40k

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_Impreza

and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_RS200#Specificat...

There is a 10mm difference.

someone should do something about this hehe

the old classics are starting to rust.... badly.. and the OEM cost of replacement 1/4 panels ( over £350! per side ) are leading many of them to their doom frown

not much metal left once you remove all the iron oxide frown

i wish i could save them all lol

Is there much demand for old Subaru? The classifieds seem to be full of them.

thirsty..

highest insurance group..

and hiding epic amounts of rust ( body panels not sealed very well or at all at construction so hold all of our lovely road grit and keep it lovely and moist frown )

they're at a tipping point at the moment..

like the original KA's.. everyone loved them.. until suddenly everyone hated them and called them all rot boxes.. as they eventually turned out to be frown

Looks great! Do you know anything more about it? I've not heard of MR2 > RS200 before. Did they just nick the engine and running gear or is it a bodywork addon/conversion onto the MR2 panels?

There is no point restoring old subarus. There are billions of them and most for peanuts. Old Fords have far more charm. However finding one without rust probably also futile. Unless it has already been restored or kept in a heated garage. Both these makes were built down to a price to be disposable in reality.

Wheels are st. I'd rather have a standard looking one. It looks tacky and crap.

Agreed - somehow split rims always look wrong on modern machines to me. A GTR should have some ludicrous forged alloys or something imo.
