Not such a fan of that Mercedes, the front end doesn't look like it belongs to the back end!

I prefer my Mercedes a little older with pillar less windows , wider arches and split rims

there is a build thread on Pelican Parts forum - it's a turbo technics conversion

Great car, except for the front lights. Look like an afterthought.

49psi? fk me. I remember ratcheting my Saab 900 up to 21, and being told that was "ridiculous". To be fair, it did melt the gearbox, but...

I doubt this fella will be doing too many 6000 mile services on his powertrain at that level of tune either. It is seriously fast though at 62mph to 124mph in 3.7 seconds. They'll probably hear the bang on the ISS when it lets go of a conrod.

What's people's thoughts on this? I think it'll divide opinion. Personally I think the hatch line is a little steep for the back of the car, but the more I look at it the more I like it, and it appears to have been done to a very high standard.

nice, body looks great, but some of the details are a bit odd

I think i'd prefer it with full side windows though

Yeah, it needs a chrome trimmed rear window to match the others as well, rather than a rubber seal.

Handy for coffin shifting. I quite like it, but then I had a 1974 Lotus Elite II many years ago. paperbag

GSI's are rare this however is a Cavalier Turbo 4x4 (sometimes people get them mixed up because they share the same bodykit) which sits under the same banner to be honest. I've owned the car for 9 years now and it's taken a lot of work to restore it back to this "oem" exterior finish.

What have you modified on the engine? Any increase in power?

Great effort a good mix of originality with a few upgraded parts.
