Surely a performance car enthusiast would know the car in question is a S4, not an RS4 
. I find this very interesting that people can't seemingly like different types of cars....personally I own an E28 5 series that fits firmly in the Stanceworks side of things, but also have a rally prepped Peugeot 205 Rallye. I like both for different reasons. As for the whole Stanceworks thing, a lot of people seem to have a negative view of the site despite the blog getting some interesting features and access to BMWs own collection of race cars in America.
Anyway, would my dads V8 Triumph 2000 count as decently modified?

Nothing, well the car bounced off it and he continued on. Rare occasion that the car came off better

Fair point! It is a S4 though, a bit OTT but very nicely executed in the flesh.

Your prejudice is misplaced IMO. A StanceWorks feature is arguably more important and harder to obtain than any magazine, and as such it's the cream of the crop type stuff.
And despite their name, they cover all types of automotive culture and styling. They cover a lot of classic motorsport type events, and as said, have gotten access to some great BMW Motorsport history.

I'd agree with that other than to say those well executed modifications should either focus on performance improvements or cosmetic improvements that don't harm the cars drivability. The Audi is an example of a car that I would assume has worse drivability than stock and therefore I'd say the modifications are bad.Just my point of view but I'd add that in my opinion PH isn't a forum aimed at MaxPower, it's aimed at people who consider car performance very highly.
I'm not sure whether this has been in here before, but the fact that I hadn't seen the build thread until last week suggests that it hasn't been here recently.

prejudice would be a misplaced word considering i didn't have a clue about them until i started seeing the water stamped marked photos on here, so had no preconceived idea of them. The problem is the fan boys cream themselves over the stance works cars, whatever they are, s
t or good.They are very professionally done, good photos etc, but like any processed thing can make a mutton of a car look like a like a supercar. in a similar vein to highly processed pop stars looking like munters in real life.
stance slogan is ' Low is a Lifestyle.', the cars are always too low , they have modified like i said earlier too far.
For me it's an issue of dross-to-decent ratio. There are some utter horrors on SpeedHunters and the like but the majority of stuff they cover is decent so the odd VIP-look/stupid-camber/airbagged abortion can be overlooked. Stanceworks, in my experience, tends to be the inverse- a higher ratio of misses and relatively few hits. Of course it's all subjective.
This one might divide opinion. How many wings is too many?

You're prejudging the cars based on a watermark, it's the correct word. I don't see how they're modified too far when that's the look they wanted? I can understand when a car is overdone, but I don't think a style can be considered modified too far. In reality they're usually fairly simple cars.
RX-7, as long as it's all purposeful, which it looks considering it's at a track, is fine. Looks awesome.

The bonnet and front bumper fit is shocking so it definitely doesn't belong here. Neither do racing cars - they're not, IMO, 'modified'. As for the StanceWorks stuff, whenever I see that mark I can't hep but think 'no it doesn't.MaxTorques SEAT
