There is more air above the car if you lower it....
Ah but you can't see it; cos it's transparent. biggrin

I agree with his general point though; with the exception of a few cars which start out stupidly high, lowering cars usually makes them look badly proportioned to me. I think it makes the metalwork above the wheels look taller and hence the whole car look bulkier and slab-sided.

I have seen it & do remember that but nah, wrong colour and front end. I think that other one was featured in a Speedhunters article. Or was in the background of a meet they covered.

Amazing job they've done on that, would the body cope with the extra power well or flex quite a bit more than before I wonder?

Not nominating my car for decently modified, most will probably hate it.

A couple of trucks I spotted in the paddock at Silverstone Classic. I really need something like this.

I have no idea why, but I love this look on old american trucks.

I was commenting on this with some friends this weekend - the aged/'patina' look is all the rage with Yank trucks especially (but also some of the cars) but were you to get the same finish on most Euro cars (other than dubs) people would look at you as if you were mad

Even on dubs the finish looks st hehe

I think the yank tanks get away with it because that's how the cars go when they've been left outside in dry conditions for 30-40 years so it's not an unnatural look for that kind of car/truck. Whatever the reason it's cool as fk. Those 3 were even cooler because the interiors were mint still. I want the white one.

Stretched tyres ruin the look of it for me.

Tyres are being changed, although in the metal they're nowhere near as stretched as the pics make them appear.

Saw this on Ebay sell for £6100. If I hadn't just started college, I think I would of tried to snap it up.

Very nice. I'd prefer it to be white though, but it's a very cool car.
