This should be in its own thread: ' How to ruin a perfectly good Ferrari'
It's a 412 though, not much of value was lost...
A lovely elegant v12 cruiser.

Yeah think it is/was. Used to be black?

Properly awesome looking thing, like a mini Gumpert Apollo. 500-odd BHP turbo engine?

I've always loved that Lotus. I wish someone would make an affordable kit car along those lines.

It's funny you should say that, when I was idly pondering building a single seater road car myself from scratch I decided cutting up a canoe would be the easiest way to make the bodywork. hehe

Sadly, yes. I doubt that Lotus would pass a modern IVA, it's got a lot stricter.

its a formula junior converted with kawasaki zx9r engine in , its in bits at the moment , ive got too many projects on the go

the plan is to remove the zx9r engine and fit a lotus twin cam , In the capri i had planned to fit an ls7 , its been on the back burner for a while , the E type has taken up too much of my time .

Definitely going to get my act together with the Lotus in the summer

with all panels removed , its a bit like an Atom

In regards to this car some of you are thinking of Nipper, a black 500bhp tuned Vx220 built by a bloke named Nev.
This car is not Nipper as nipper is often covered in a thick layer of dirt, dust and grime and I would be shocked to ever see it so well cleaned.

This is also likely to actually be a German Opel Speedster rather than a UK vx220 as there are not many Vx220 owners who modify their cars without making everyone aware of it on the Vx forums or facebook groups whereas there are often some hidden gems on the euro speedster forums that slowly get seen by us.
Not the info you're looking for but clears up a few suspicions smile

Honestly i think that car's been ruined, the wheels are too big, and it sits too low, and i really dont like those busy rivvetted rims

Biggest clue is the windscreen wiper, pretty sure that's a left hooker!

I can only guess that the builder went with the riveted rim idea only given that it were a 90's thing...

Guess it's just me, then paperbag.
