I'm sure its been said loads of times but surely messing with a suspension set up that a factory spent a huge amount of time to get perfect on a performance car is a bit silly. (That said I do know this is an older car but still too low IMO)
Darwinism, there's a very good chance they will drive them at the original designed limits and therefore not live long enough to breed bobfather said:

Darwinism, there's a very good chance they will drive them at the original designed limits and therefore not live long enough to breed There are such things as performance air-suspension kits. An awful lot of pro-touring cars in the States run air suspension and they are specifically built to race.

I wish people would stop touting this nonsense that air-suspension is somewhat inferior to tradition coil-sprung suspension.

never driven one so i cant comment on the handling, but you can comment on how st they look slammed to the groundThere are such things as performance air-suspension kits. An awful lot of pro-touring cars in the States run air suspension and they are specifically built to race.

That's nonsense, the stance modders don't modify for performance, they modify for aesthetics. Next you'll be telling us that fitting stretched tyres is for performance There are such things as performance air-suspension kits. actually not quite right - the factory settings will always be a catch-all performance compromise (unless each car is custom fitted for the client) or the accountants will get involved citing extra unit costs vs profitability, one might imagine thought may be given to how said vehicle is able to be maintained by a dealership...shakotan said:

Another car that's far too low!
Time for me to break out my old saying...Criticising a car that's on adjustable suspension for being too low is akin to throwing away your dinner because it is too hot.
I've been slated for daring to modify the suspension on my E30 M3. Despite my ''ruining'' it, it's quicker through corners than a stock version. Both stretched tyres and lowered suspension can be used to improve/increase performance but it's when taken to extremes (and subsequently past the point where beneficial) that things get silly.

Some more 964s while we are here then
TBF I think that the stance on that is pretty much there, maybe could do with being a gnat's teste higher but stance-wise it's great. Not convinced about the rear lights though (in the interests of fairness I should say I'm not a great fan of the 911 though)Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
