I like that a lot.
Always wondered if it's possible to stick an sr20det in there. It is essentially a Micra underneath.
Dependant on what shape Micra you say it is underneath the E15et from the cherry turbo may be a easier fit as I believe people fitted them to Micra's. (many years ago mind)Always wondered if it's possible to stick an sr20det in there. It is essentially a Micra underneath.

Perhaps it's time to accept that PH is big enough for many types of petrolhead and that there are differences. The 'stance' folk appear to want this thread, let them have it, rename it 'Decently Stanced Cars' and start a new thread for 'Decent Performance Modified Cars'
Perhaps the best idea for this thread imoAnd/or accept that anything from SW probably needs raising by a few mm however that because of this, it doesn't mean the car isn't well done.

Whilst I can appreciate the engineering, the car itself does absolutely nothing for me.
I kind of like those old chevys purely on classical looks, but that thing must be a pig to drive, even if it is just a chevy shell on modern chassis/suspenion type thing, all that weight of front cant be good.Vitorio said:

Sometimes it's better to do a quick google search...A BMW v12 with all it's accessories mounted weighs in at 529 pounds , a Chevy big block motor weighs 685 pounds.

There is two of those V12s though, so 1060 pounds vs 685, and im willing to bet the handling with a chevy big block wasnt exactly sharp to begin withA BMW v12 with all it's accessories mounted weighs in at 529 pounds , a Chevy big block motor weighs 685 pounds.

Please accept my apologies, my reply was quite off as I'd somehow not spotted that there are [b]2[b/] in that bay.
No worries, you are not to blame for those yanks losing all sense of reason and bunging two of those lumps in there- there was me thinking one V12 would be more than sufficient
