I will freely admit the only thing I dislike about those photos is the watermark. Sad to say I can't move beyond the stigma that the word 'stance' conjures in my mind - of idiot cambers, tyre stretching and other moronic trends championed by that 'scene'.
I think even Stanceworks themselves would change the name now if they could. They've been a very well known brand name for a while though, especially in the US, so I suppose its worth putting up with.

It suffers from the usual, fashionable, black(ish) wheels. Never, IMHO, have they improved the looks of a car. Unless you're Batman.

Very nice otherwise.

That's very nice. (I like black or anthracite wheels on some cars)

Liking the dash clocks. Any details?

I like that a lot honestly. thumbup

The black wheels against the dark silver bodywork is a nice contrast.

Speedhunters article mentions Datsport gauges

The interior wasn’t neglected, and today everything inside looks and feels brand new. The entire Australian-spec interior has been replaced with that of a JDM-spec Bluebird, the door trims being the only original items that made it through the restoration. Among other things, new carpet, a Nardi 350mm wheel on a quick-release hub, and a full set of Datsport gauges have all found their way into the car. It’s an extremely clean and simple setup.
Which lead me here - http://www.datsport.com/electrical-gauges-list.htm...

YUM YUM. That's spot on.

My first half a dozen cars were mk1/2 Fiestas so I have bit of a soft spot for them - perhaps a major rose tinted glasses moment!

Hell lets have another MK1

All looks relatively standard, then you see the Zetec conversion sits the "interesting" way in the engine bay, yep it's RWD

Looks a little bit under-wheeled to me, and the tyres are a bit too stretched... That aside that's bloody perfect.
what ?

why would putting "22 spinners on it make it better ?
No, that would totally ruin it. I'd prefer it on 14" or 15" (at a push) wheels.

Guessing Fiesta mk1 are a bit before your time? 15's might work I guess but I think those RS 4 spokes are perfect.
Are they not from the Supersport? It was before my time, and a standard example looks great on them, but this needs a little more imo.

If I was being picky I'd prefer pepperpots, and a 'normal' grill with the oval
You may already know this, but it wears the stock North American grille. They never got a blue oval grille in America.

A fiesta mk1 with 15" wheels, not sure how much lower that could go but it doesn't look right. To me, Fiesta mk1 or 2 wheels really should be 13", maybe 14" at a push.

15" Focus Mk1 wheels are too big for my liking.

13/14 for me to. I tried 15 OZ super Tourismos on a XR2 and it was hidious an quickly put back onto 14s.

Those 4 spoke RS wheels are an interesting wheel because although at first glance most seem the same there are a dozen or more varieties depending if they came off a FWD or RWD or XPACK car made by different manufactures.

As an example there are a lot of 13 inch diameter wheels with widths varying from 5.5 to 7.5 and there are rather rare 14x6 versions to.

15's can work But you need skinny tyres and more Importantly the right offset

Just an ad I found at the same time

True with 6J wide 15s and a decent suspension drop some wheels work. I tried 15x6 escort GTI 5 spokes on mine with 195/50 an it didn't work at all. At the time 195/45s were about 3-4 times as expensive so i ended up getting some 14inch OZ Super Ts from Demon Tweeks (blast from the past!) with tyres for about the same price.

At first glance that de bumpered Fiesta looked like a mk1 Golf... (not a bad thing!)

I think if I search hard enough I still have some 6x4 pictures of some of my mk2s but I think most people would simply poke fun and call them chav these daysconfused Perhaps better saved for another time.

I can't get enough of this despite not being into American stuff at all, especially not stuff of this era. And yet this is one of the most perfect cars I've ever seen...
