Not sure if this has been posted before, but it popped up on my FB feed late Friday and has had me pricing up Z-Cars kits all weekend;
That´s very cool, but why go to the trouble of a carbon dash then stick those horrible-looking tin-plate seats in it? because NASCAR/NHRA/etc?generationx said:

Not a clue...presume it may be from a packaging perspective as two modern bucket seats look hugely out of place/ like they barely fit in a classic mini.Never seen the appeal of those seats though - definitely getting old at 30, as they just look horrific to spend any amount of time in!

They're actually supposed to be pretty comfortable, more than you'd think at least. And light and very supportive.
Depends on the driver, too fat and you dont fit, too skinny and its your bones on the metal. If you are average weight they are actually pretty comfortable, not sure I would use for a 600 mile drive however.TheRocket said:

That Rusty cars been twisting knickers for years. Whatever you think of the outside, undeniable that the engine looks amazing

On that Yellow mini Van. I like the little extra rosejoints from the frame to the body
I actually preferred the version before the current spaceframe one slightly more.
I like that BGT: but the wheels are a bit too big, and the black windscreen surround looks cheap. I am toying with the idea of a Project BGT (I had a Roadster years ago and loved it). This would be good inspiration.
That lovely Aston Martin light green metallic for me though, please...

Have you had a look at Frontline Development's cars? http://www.frontlinedevelopments.com/That lovely Aston Martin light green metallic for me though, please...

I never quite understood them until I had a look at their stand at Goodwood last year. The price is, well, unpleasant...but the product looks absolutely phenomenal. Quality of trim, paint and finish was stunning and told they drive better than they look, too.

Oooh.
Want.
They look better in the flesh.Want.
When I read about them, I liked what they did but fundamentally wasn't interested; it was for someone else.
When I saw one of the cars, I got it; it's just as good as you would want it to be. It looks like an MG but is a little, bespoke, ball of wonderment.
£86k+ for the roadster though. I#m pretty sure I could get an immaculate, re-shelled one for £20k and spend £30k to getting it to 75% of the spec of the Frontline. Or a good, but cosmetically duff (needing paint rather than welding) one for £10k and have a bespoke paint job too...
Still. What a lovely little thing.
