Have we had this?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dimma-Cosworth-205-4x4-5...

I'm assuming this is (as it claims) the original insane project and not some 'banged up in a garage' one - tho the price is a bit wilting!?!?

I feel that's 'decently' modified tho!? smile

Bloody Hell.
That's ridiculously overpriced. 4mins left and no bids on top of the £20k start.
It may be a decent enough conversion but it's still an old modified car.

That is stunning. I used to watch the Jimmy McRae DOT Ascona 400 for a season before the Rothmans Ascona then Mantas came out.

Right, I posted this on the Badly modified cars thread as I wasn't too sure on it. After lots of protests it needs a new home.

The watermelon car....

These Rat cars, usually run 100% but just look like they have been pull out of a barn - thats the cool thing.

It doesn't run perfect with all that ste on it.

In fact, compared to a standard car, that's a lot worse.

Wrong thread.

Not sure how it 'doesn't run perfect?'

Is that rope connected to an anchor which is the only means of stopping it?

Does it only have 3 wheels?

Ride height, crap on roof, random tinsel on the bonnet.

None of that makes it better so not decently modified.

Simples.

I always though the 356 was a performance car? Bolting on a load of old tat does nothing to improve upon the original car. I get what they're trying to achieve but it's a waste of a 356 in my book.

Just my opinion.

quite, but it was always a stupid idea and some of the cars are downright dangerous.

Imagine how neat that car would be if all the mechanicals are gone through, new glass and a dead straight black paint job.
