Would look better with the boot shut..........
could be modified, I think you can buy the 'black' body kit for a standard clk63 amg coupe
I would say wheels, spoiler and window mesh are a slight clue this isn't 100% standard wink
They built these like that - check Ultimatecarpages wink
Who built them like that? Mercedes didnt, its not a standard CLK Black. Its very nice though.
exactly, if you can show me a pic of a car leaving Mercedes like that I shall happily concede mind!

I was thinking iot was the CLK DTM (the one with the Mc / SLR lump), but no.

http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/1981/Mercedes-B... I think they did 2 iterations of it, with different body kits, that is not an aftermarket body kit. Basically the same lump as the Mclaren SLR wedged in there! Limited Run of 100.

Surely it is a CLK BLACK 6.3 jobbie https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=clk+6.3+amg&...

I really do think Merc need to build something with a proper manual gearbox (even with the flappy paddles too), but not a straight torque converter auto. To me these are just for cruising and peeps that have no real interest in Really "Driving".

Either way a homage to this http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/1295/Mercedes-B...

Looks the same to me, just spec different rims and the rear spoiler from the options (and some white tipex for the tyres).

Lets get back to properly modded stuff not production stuff.

Massive kudos to the fact they are hand built.
What do you mean? Porsches are built on a production line by a mixture of humans and robots nowadays and so were 964's like that one. Rauh Welt are a tuner and as far as I'm aware no tuning house has robots building cars, so all modified cars are handbuilt.
Go watch the RWB videos on youtube and the various documentarys.

Summary: the one man operation. Hand builds, hand designs and does everything by eye.

On the mad Merc issue - it's clearly modded, if nothing else those wheels aren't OEM and MB don't do tyres with white logos smile

My guess is it's a stock car with the kit, carbon, wheels and spoiler added for good measure.

It could be a Black Edition with diff wheels and tyres I suppose - but it's not a factory car - 99.9% certain of that.

p.s. and one of those with the back seats still in would be v.v.appealing - it was silly removing them...

285bhp from 5 litres, wow. hope the torque is instant to make up for that.

I think it could do with bigger wheels.
