About as fast as a Mustang. But in a boring Euro box.

No it doesn't. That's the problem.

"Hi guys - let's change an Fwd car to rwd with a US engine. It could be anything we choose! I know - let's do...a Ford Focus!"

Fail.

For me, that is the appeal. A normal looking car (would be better without the RS bits) with stonking V8 performance.

Do you know if this was the Spider on the alfabb.com forums? If so, that project has been going on for something like 7 years! The amount of agonising and fettling that the owner put into the styling tweaks was crazy.

If it's the car i am thinking of it is decently modified underneath though - heavily modified 3.7 litre V6 under the bonnet, chassis-stiffening rails, uprated brakes etc etc.

A monumental amount of dosh spent.

Love the look of this car. So many of these have fallen the way of sticker bombing and "stance", but this just looks so purposeful. My ideal, real world, weekend runabout.

Really like that!

There's something about being well and truly trounced by a relatively standard looking MX5. I know from experience. grumpy
