Does bonnet fit really matter? It's a rally/track car, it's not meant to look perfect it's meant to go quickly, which with 400+bhp through the rear wheels in a car weighing under a tonne, it probably does.

Closer to 600 I believe yes

I'd say it's extremely decently modified biggrin

What lump is under the RX's bonnet? Definitely not a rotary, looks like a jap inline six.

The bonnet and front bumper fit is shocking so it definitely doesn't belong here. Neither do racing cars - they're not, IMO, 'modified'.
Really, the fitment of home made kevlar panels is what stands out to you in that photo? I also disagree with your feelings about 'racing cars' as they are the properly modified vehicles, most of the other things here just have shop bought tat stuck onto them.

Go and look at all of the photos in the thread then come back and talk about shocking fitment.

Some may say that is not decently modified as it is full of scofolding, not fit for road conditions, only any good for a race circuit, and not paticularly pretty.
There are many different things one wants from a car.

Pretty? This thing will rip your head off and rape your neck. It is a weapon. Not a posing pouch. Awesome work it is too.

You say that as if it is a good thing? its just another racing car, we could just wander up and down a pit lane taking pictures of racing cars to post, but this thread is about well sorted beautiful road cars.

Just for the sake of completeness i should point out that the front bumper and bonnet were not really "fitted" exactly in that picture. Because i was still working on the radiator ducting and underbody guarding those parts were just "dropped" in place. You can seen that there is no scuttle pannel, or windscreen wiper either!

Luckily, that wasn't hard to fix, and the parts are properly fitted now:

No, i don't think a QI at Rolls Royce would get excited about the panel fit, but considering what the car is intended to be, i think it's ok!
