when can you get a car on a classic policy? I think most only offer from 25, there are a few at 21 however, even so I'm only 20 :S the problem with this is that it's a 3.2 v8 petrol

My 4.0 litre Lexus/toyota V8 was half the price to insure as my 2.5 volvo 850
Take from that what you will.... but I have been driving it since I was 23

Take from that what you will.... but I have been driving it since I was 23 unfortunately for me the insurance on a lexus ls400 would cost me £5400, which is just a teeny weeny bit above budget, a 1.8 petrol Mondeo is about 1700, age and a patchy driving history aren't on my side

Take from that what you will.... but I have been driving it since I was 23 unfortunately for me the insurance on a lexus ls400 would cost me £5400, which is just a teeny weeny bit above budget, a 1.8 petrol Mondeo is about 1700, age and a patchy driving history aren't on my side have you tried shopping around for imports? they can often be insured for cheaper prices through brokers like adrian flux.

It is much cheaper for me to insure than a genuine UK LS400 would be.

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2012...Peugeot 406 estate a mate has one that he works out of rather than a van, i did a round trip to penzance (900 mile round trip) with him a few months back, cruises at 90 mph easily, very comfortable and decent on juice if theres 5 of you travelling id defo look at an estate rather than trying to get everything into a boot

All the switches were proper clunky ones - everything worked. I considered buying one as a comedy daily! It was comfy as anything, slept 4 of us well when we got stranded in the middle of nowhere in Ukraine!

Believe it or not, the walnut wheel and gearknob are worth 200 quid on their own to some owners !
