Caterham tells me you can take it flat which, with the way the SP300 was geared for Rockingham, means a whisker under 150mph. I was doing between 135 and 140mph...

Agree about the self preservation, I was lucky enough to do 10 laps of the Rockingham oval in one of their formula cars, averaging circa 135mph iirc. I had no desire to go any faster.

Changed my opinion of oval racers doing the same in the double hundreds- Ballsy!
