Is it me or does 4.9 seconds to 60 seem a bit 'slow' for a 4wd 560hp supercar?
Not just you!

I feel a bit ashamed to admit it, because lets face it 4.9seconds isn't slow, but when I read that I was quite disappointed as well. I suppose we are getting spoilt now with a reasonable selection of "affordable" non-supercars that can all do better than this.

I've always reckoned this was one of the most unique and beautiful cars ever made, at least from outside.

I just checked a review from the time of the SS model, and they reckoned it could do 0-60 in about 3.3, so I should think this would do it in under four.

XJ220 for me. I remember a book I had in the late 90's as a young kid, of the world's fastest cars. This, the Mclaren F1 and the Jag were the kings for me, but for some reason the Jag captured my imagination in a way that this simply didn't. Awesome, awesome car though smile

So you want a leftfield early 90's hypercar, do you go for the EB110 or this? :scratchchin

There are only a handful of companies which never went for the mass market and were only always truly for the rich and elite. Ferrari, Aston Martin, Maserati, Lamborghini -- all great names, but they have stooped to mass market cars at various times. Meanwhile, makers like Duesenberg, Bugatti, Rolls-Royce -- never. I love this car because it's one of those elites. And how it looks like nothing else. Supercool.

Dare I say that I prefer the EB110 to the Veyron?

Used to be one of these regularly tooling around the Hethel end of Norfolk in the 90s. Incredible road presence but unwieldy looking on the local roads.

Back when it was released, I remember thinking that the headlights looks appalling, and they haven't got better with age. Otherwise, it's a moderately appealing but slightly nondescript shape.

That interior does look quite comically bad. Reminds me of the early Esprit.

I remember following an EB110 and a Venturi 400GT from Goodwood to the A3 many years ago in my Golf GTi. Managed to keep with them until the traffic thinned out just south of Wisley when they just accelerated and vanished into the distance biggrin

I know there are owners of just about every possible vehicle on PH but I don't recall ever hearing of anyone on here with an EB110

Now's the time, if you've got one.... pipe up!

I would have one of these over a Veyron. I used to have a very detailed model of this car on the desk in my bedroom whilst growing up and never got tired of looking at it. Have never seen one in the flesh though..hopefully one day
