Staying with the three pointed star, this faded old aunty is nicely run in....
Text says that "cloth seats which have signs of wear and tear" but I can't see it myself.
Did the driver not bother getting out when he needed a piss?

Nice looking manual E46 330Cd with 265k on it (and no advisories on last 2 MOTs) for £2k.
That said, I'd like to see the condition of the bits of the seats you can't see from the interior shot.

A. Look at the gear stick. WowzersThat said, I'd like to see the condition of the bits of the seats you can't see from the interior shot.

B. There's a distinct lack of front fog lights
My 61k model with no wear anywhere else with sports seats definitely showed good wear from people rubbing past the bolsters with jeans on and catching them with the rivets and such, I guess there'a hole in the drivers bolster. It is a very well specced car with pretty much everything apart from nav. Adaptive headlights too, which were a very rare option only on the last year or two of E46 production.

Mine is just shy of 200k;
- gearknob, nothing like as bad as the autotrader one but bits of leather have started falling off
- steering wheel is more worn on mine
- alcantara seats have wear but not that bad on the bolster, leather would have stood up much better
263k miles in just under 3 years. Nearly 90k a year, 7.5k a month, 1700 a week or 240 miles a day, every day since it was registered. I can't see the drivers seat base, but the rest of the car looks good.
Strangely it had an MOT at just over 2 years old where it had done 199k miles, so near 100k a year average over 2 years

Your 61k model has likely seen more ins and outs in doing that mileage than something which has been a mile muncher.

It seems to be more of a what do you wear and how fat are you, also. You could also argue that a mile muncher should not see that many gear changes and so the gear know would not be that worn. The arm rest also has some wear on it, too. Well done in taking a 320cd so far though. My dad has run an E53 X5 petrol from delivery mileage to 196,000 miles. I'd get bored well before that. I didn't know you could even MOT a car that's less than 3 years old, every day is a school day.Strangely it had an MOT at just over 2 years old where it had done 199k miles, so near 100k a year average over 2 years

Answered my own question, 2k less than a 100000 miler so not particularly cheap.

But only about 2-3 mpg behind the 3 litre diesel version, and much nicer way to do the miles. TheFinners said:
I saw that ad yesterday and thought the same. However, the petrol model is probably less likely to throw up huge bills going forward than a 3 litre common rail diesel....well, at least not engine related I would have thought.poing said:

Taxis also need more frequent mots although I think it's either from year 1 or year 3 depending on the class - taxi or private hire.
