2008 Corsa 1.3CDTi Van with 464,000 miles on the clock on ebay.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2008-VAUXHALL-CORSA-VAN-...
MoT prints available... really not required

No V5... really quite required

Reserve not met... not surprised!
What a horrific way to cover nearly half a million miles.
Hopefully it wasn't all the same person... Poor bd.

Relisted now too: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2008-VAUXHALL-CORSA-VAN-...

MOT history is interesting - even when it failed on 29th Feb with two bald tyres it did 293 miles before its next test the following day.

That should go in the PSA buys Vauxhall thread. Apparently Vauxhall isn't reliable

Some people don't need man maths. We have a successful sales rep on our team, she's ruthless at hitting her numbers, consistently meeting target qtr after qtr. as such she grosses in the region of £180k. In the course of her job, like plenty of busy sales reps, she covers 50k a year.

She lives alone. She likes shiney things. Handbags, jewellery, cars. She also loves cars. She doesn't need to justify it to herself, she buys whatever car she wants, keeps it until bored then starts again. I've known her for about 6 years and I've seen:-

Jag xfr
C63 amg
E92 m3
And an rs6 just like the above.

Long story I know, but there must be plenty of people about who just earn well and spend a chunk of it to drive a nice (and fast) car.
Totally agree, well said. Cars go beyond maths for some people, driving s nice car is priceless if you like that sort of thing, which I and a lot of PH'ers do.

In fairness, it was a really st story laugh

I thought I'd written more, saying that if it stays really cheap, I might be interested in it as a mobile shed. I must have been too eager to write my post

Whilst looking at older AMG models around here, I fell on this one:
C36 AMG with 533,000km (331,000 miles), rather impressive for a performance car. Not surprisingly the driver's seat has seen better days.

Just cruising through AT looking at E Class estates.

This 2013 driver's seat has done nigh on a quarter of a million miles. Impressive.

Given that it was sold in 2013 and not MoTed since, I'd suggest that this car has been dead three years at just over 200k. Where did you find it? (Cazana will extrapolate a mileage based on the last MoT date but it won't notice that the MoT must have expired a long time ago).

I was actually looking at a Astra X673 XAS which was on the road (it looked reaaaaaally sheddy) but i typed it wrong (X674 XAS - a Zafira) so i experimented and changed it to X675 XAS

I do like that shape Fiesta but the idea of doing 173k in one sounds horrendous, the one I had on hire was painfully slow.

It's actually done 335k miles. Trouble is, it's so slow it hasn't got there yet. wobble
