3 2011 Fabias with 178k miles.
Seems a strange ad to me but I believe the mileage is correct.

200k mile Porsche 996. £12k is maybe a bit steep even for a 4S.

Exactly! Without starting a different topic it seems unjust to go 3 years without one considering the milage some cover!

Insane mileage on those Fabias! Wonder what they got used for and how the 1.6 TDI copes with 170k on the clock. Would they have stuck to the 10k servicing intervals? hehe

My VRS Octavia will be around 110k by the time it goes for it's first MOT in July, it had the potential to be 150k but I moved closer to work last year and have been off work the last 4 weeks with a bad back so it hasn't moved. It's needed nothing but regular servicing and tyres and is arguably in better mechanical condition than some I've seen with half the mileage.

Better than the 1.6tdi in my Ibiza! It's an 11 plate on 60k and it's currently in for turbo and injectors.

I'm surprised they weren't presented for sale after their first MOT with 80k and a "fully stamped service history".......

Doing a 180k over 3 years in a Fabia must have been torture for somebody.

Someone will have to be very brave to buy that IMO.

I run taxi firm up here in glasgow specialising in airport transfers

Managed to put 92k miles on a peugeot partner in 11 months

And we've just put 13k miles on my mondeo estate in 5 weeks

Granted their both workhorses and pay for themselves but a well maintained car will run forever

My last vectra covered near 390k miles on the original engine and box and only had 1 clutch and flywheel change at 180k

That 330i looks to be in very good condition for the age/ mileage, and not much wear. Same goes for the 996 too, though I think the valuation may be a bit high? Would love to see some decent photos of the interior too. Looks in OK shape smile

Good luck to them. I wouldn't touch it........not necessarily because of the high mileage, but the combination of mileage + porsche + asking price....... Oh and the required contingency fund of at least 1/4 of the asking price IMO.

I have the opportunity to swap my car (with cash my way) for a 2005 Ford Fiesta Zetec S TDCI with 188k. Are there any major concerns with one of these at that mileage? What should be a reasonable price for one with 12 months MOT?

Wouldn't pay much at all for that, 10 year old intergalactic common rail diesel in a Fiesta doesn't sound very attractive
