I love that at that price. I'd be on that if I hadn't just bought a load of other projects

You just couldn't go wrong. Even if you only get a few months of wafting around in it before it explodes, it would surely sell for a similar sum as a non runner / for parts.

Much want.

No. I'm too scared I'll end up buying it. It looks to me like they've started the ad at a grand and then reduced the price for a quick(er) sale.

Fancy something truly desirable with hundreds of thousands of miles left in it? Tough.

Especially as by choosing a V8 S500 with 120,000 fewer miles on it than an asthmatic 1.7 D Astroid that's been to the edge of the visible universe and back will actually cost you less. Bonkers

I know its not mega mileage but is something like this going to go pop anytime soon.

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2014...

You see loads of lateish model cars on AT nowadays with anything between 120K and 160K+ on the clock. To me they are near the end of their life, but every car nowadays over 4 or 5 years old seems to have been to the moon and back.

No, in fact that will probably be more reliable than a newer model with the N47 engine as they are now failing at regular interval on much lower mileages

Looks good. Would it be rude to ask how much you paid for it?

I spotted this on ebay, I know the mileage is going to be a typo, but the thought of someone doing 2.5 million KM in one of these amuses me! (even 268k is good going!)
