Saw that the other day seems good value. If I'd spotted that at auction would have gone for it, hammer price probably wouldn't have been above about £8k. Odd choice to do a lot of miles in as most people go for the 1.6 TDI!

Are things like this or the focus built to take this sort of mileage in their stride or would you say the games just about up for something like this.

Any reason to think that's not a typo?
It's possible that someone's had it as a company car and just driven epic distances, but it's not an obvious courier/pool car/cab/driving school.
BCA don't generally make typos in my experience, and if it is someone will get a bargain when it goes under the hammer! Probably an ex company car coming of a 2 year lease. If it was 12k miles that would be well below average for a 2 year old diesel bmw. It's possible that someone's had it as a company car and just driven epic distances, but it's not an obvious courier/pool car/cab/driving school.

i'd have thought it would be good for a lot more. Especially as it looks like its been serviced per the book. As long as its been looked after. Are things like this or the focus built to take this sort of mileage in their stride or would you say the games just about up for something like this.

Bloody hell that's done some miles - works out as averaging well over 40k per year!!! Wonder why it was kept for 8 years though. The asking price is optimistic but I guess it will probably end up getting exported. va1o said:

Not the highest in the thread, especially for an 56 reg, but it is an Alfa so 179,000 is impressive. my 56 reg felt on it's last legs at 80k and that was back in 2011.

Despite what the ad says, it's not £995, it's £2295, the owner must have wanted the cheaper ad cost.

I hate people who do that,
either way, that's a great price for a 159. It's worth 2k just to look at
