Those 'airline pilots' that the driver used to ferry about must have been pretty lazy not to use their own cars to get to/from work wink

Unloaded when the MB 3 year, unlimited miles warranty expires of course smile
Not sure what point you're making. If someone is running a business doing that many miles of course you would change it when the warranty is up. No point risking it being off the road for a week to save a few quid on a new one.

Just to add that when I get on a plane I expect my pilot to be rested and alert for my flight! Driving for a couple of hour can be tiring.

Indeed. And if you're flying long haul and possibly going to be away for 4 or 5 days do you really expect to have to pay airport parking charges each time you go? Be a bit annoying to pay £60 a week to do your job.

My point being that crew have to live within 1hr of their base airport.

They drive to work, fly as per their roster then drive home again.

If the aircraft was diverted then the whole crew would be bussed back.

IMO this is an ex-virgin upper class complementary taxi or just an ex-airport run taxi, the airline pilots part is just making it sound less taxi like.

And yes, i would unload it when the warranty ran out as well. It will be on a 3 year lease anyway.

Regardless, looks nice given the miles.

There is no way has that Beemer done 205k in 24 months. If you needed a tool to do 4 - 500 miles a day in, you wouldn't choose a 3 series touring and then spec it with M Sports suspension, 19" alloys and a sports auto box with paddle shifts. Price is in line with a car with average miles from a non approved Dealer.

How about this beauty with 630k km on the clock! I love the fact that they've got the hose out but thought, fk that, why would you wash a car before trying to sell it?

Looks like a lovely place to buy a car from. I reckon anyone who's been to see it is now under the patio - look there's a pile of slabs ready for the next visitor....

That looks lovely. I know pictures can be deceiving, but it looks to be in remarkable condition.

Also showing over 38mpg average for last 10k miles, very impressive.

ETA;

It's not the highest mileage in the thread, but it's certainly one of the stranger choices to cover over 200k miles in;
