Who's got their gambling pants on for a 191k BMW 850?

Terrible alloys, terrible spoiler, terrible badges but I kept flicking through the photos. I found a picture of a 530d badge and someones tiny little office!?
Spoiler looks like it's off a Mk2 MR2 (rev3), not sure quite why someone would fit it to an 8 Series. Wheels are easily swapped out and badges are easily removed.

I too am baffled by a photo of the office.

That's my point! If it has done 400k then it's 2 grand over priced! Search for any 06 plate E class for £3k and they will all have fewer than half the miles. What would you get for £3k...

or this for a fiver less....

Yes sorry misread your post!
Completely agree with you.
Joke of a car. smile
I would guess the second "better value" car has been in a smack looking at the fresh lights on the front driver's side.

Looking at the rear and passenger seats, it looks very much like the bottom one has been used as a taxi of some sort.

If you look at the front view it also looks like it has a badly resprayed, silver front bumper fitted.

My favourite part of the advert: 'THIS CAR HAD A NEW ENGINE PUT IN AT 90,000 MILES BUT UNFORTUNATELY WE DO NOT HAVE ANY DOCUMENTATION OR RECEIPT OF THIS'

That spacing of the plate makes it look like its trying to convince people its a 14 plate too, how pathetic!

And I bet a replacement Diesel Particulate Filter is just around the corner if they fitted them back then.

Does anyone actually know anyone that has bought an ex taxi like that?

I wouldn't have a problem buying an ex company / lease / privately owned car with big miles but I would be hesitant to buy an ex taxi.

Having done pizza deliveries in the past, I too would be hesitant to buy a car that has done hundreds of thousands of miles of town driving on poor surfaces and over speed bumps.

It really does destroy your car.
