I've been thinking recently is the F10 the most popular car for doing big miles in currently? For a model that's only been out for a few years there are a massive number for sale with 100k upwards!

2013 Superb with 160,000 miles on, looks good for it too, though it was a misprint but price and "cambelt changed at 136k" made me realise it's not.

Last serviced a year ago - great selling point! (Or has been advertised for ages!)How about a jaaaag estate with a few miles on it.
You can get X-Types with less than 100k miles for less than that

Popular choice for those that can pay up, middle ground and upper middle CBA & do loadsa miles. Probably a nice car at 90 when you're disinterested want comfort & less - no tax liability.I've been thinking recently is the F10 the most popular car for doing big miles in currently? Lots of people still need in person, so wide choice, including the mud seats option

That looks like the ideal reasonable car to rack up big miles in, seems to wear them very well too. I actually quite like the interior. I wonder if any long term reliability issues will pop up with the F10, can't say I have heard of anything bad about them?
Wonder how long that one will be for sale for.

1) ticking time bomb surely?http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RANGE-ROVER-SPORT-TDV6-H...

2) Car has been relisted at least twice. Why do people not just set a reserve, rather than pretending they are selling with no reserve? The last time the car was 'sold' was only 5 days ago, so he has decided the buyer is a time waster in 5 days, really? Either he isn't being honest with the description (and buyers are rejecting on inspection) or someone is bidding the price up.
Supposedly it sold for 10k last time around. You could get one with half the miles for that.

Yeah, the relisting thing bugs me. I thought it was looking expensive at the current £7700!2) Car has been relisted at least twice. These bidders must be brave, looking a bit more pricey than I'd expect!
Nicked from the Bargain Basement thread: an old W124 with 403k on it!

That RRS is worth more being broken for parts than sold as a complete car.
Engine's with proper servicing will go 500k and beyond, gearboxes with oil changes similar. 2 grand upwords for a value.
Body panels, interior trim, rest of running gear etc all have value.
If it has adaptive xenons, they are worth £350+ alone for a kick off.
My D3 with 136k is worth about £6k as a trade in, i would be better breaking mine right now and make a few quid from it.
But i like the old bus and i've ploughed a 3rd worlds GDP into upkeep for it so it's staying on the road till something big lets go, or i turn it into a off road only toy.

This has to be a typo surely, 2009 X5 on 560,000.

2012 Land Rover on 280,733 which seems not to be a typo.
