There's another e class on a 09 plate, same spec and engine for £3995 with just 282k miles on it.

I saw a 59 plate 2009 Mazda 6 2.5 sport for sale last week on Autotrader. 210K miles, which seemed amazing for a less than 6 year old petrol car, I mean who would by a 2.5 litre petrol car to put 35,000 miles a year on it, rather than a diesel? Anyway it was £2295 and It was gone within a few days....was really quite tempted (owning a Mk1 Mazda 6)

Depends what the history with it is like, if it has already had the expensive bits done I reckon it could be worth a punt and have a lotof life left in it.

Wouldn't like the job of trying to sell it though!
But unless it has had the seats and interior components changed it is going to feel worn surely? Front end probably has loads of chips/stone rash as well. Not to mention suspension components and other bits and and bobs which aren't service items even at a main dealer.

Not quite - 23-24k a year. Which seems a bit less insane.

Nearly 400k miles for a six-year-old car that looks pretty clean and a fairly desirable spec, at £5k.

Not saying I *would* but it doesn't seem deluded exactly.
Having just paid the same for a 145k mileage e320 CDi with better spec he is deluded.

Jesus, I want to say that that's a typo, but there's no way looking at it that it's only done 78,000 miles

Nearly 100 miles a day for 23 years? Wouldn't you have chopped it in for a Diesel a long time ago?

Nice combination of cars with moon miles, no MOTs or Cat Cs in their stock:

Makes you wonder how desperate you would need to be to buy from them.

Never in a million years has that done close to 780k. Does anyone really think it has?! Clearly a typo on a probably clocked car.

He also has a 1.3 million mile CLK.

His Cars all look awful.

I'd buy it, thing probably has 300k left in it with just regular servicing!

This has many, many miles left in it.

I worked in Saudi for many years and these things just keep going and there is no such thing as a local well maintained car in KSA......

Slight deviation, but has anyone ever seen or heard of a car clocking a million miles?

The most I've seen is a 6 series with 1m clicks on (642k miles).

Interested to know!

Opportunity missed by Ford there - presuming there's any evidence of nearly a million miles the PR coup would have been to give him a new Mondy estate.

11 years to complete the third million! That's a lot of driving.

100k a year almost!
Like 275 miles a day, that's like atleast 6 hours a day at a fair speed for that car.
