There was a 406 with above average miles recently sold on the 406oc forum...

Its an ex-private hire car - the previous owner has done the cambelt on it 5 times....

It shows a well maintained and regularly driven car can last a very long time.

I was thinking the exact same thing until I saw it had 365504 miles according to the last picture in the advert. Even more no thanks!

2007 A8 TDi with 385k miles, looks pretty good to me although no mention of service history.

2006 Mondeo on over 400k!, from our favourite seller.

2004 Mercedes E270 on 435k, should have life left in it at that mileage, superb powertain. Claims FSH too, but seems optimistically priced despite the nice spec (xenons, pano roof, leather and basic nav).

Looks very clean for the mileage cool

Not for sale as I bought it but a 120k miles Aston DB9 seems to be rare (it's fantastic)

That reminds me, I spotted this one the other day. Not conventionally 'high mileage', but in this instance I'd say it was high.

2006 AMV8 with 121k miles

Again, looks very tidy.

How are you getting on with yours? Looks stunning cloud9 Quite a history file too!

Am I right in saying, with that mileage, fuel spend alone will have been about £38k? eek

Doesn't everyone in the pub say they need a rebuild every 60K miles...?
Love the fact that he hasn't actually had a compression check done but mentions that because it starts it must be ok lol.

I thought it was anywhere around 80k and onwards, but could be 100% wrong. Given how cheap they can be near to that, have occasionally thought about one as a runaround. If you pay a low price and it gives up after a year/15-20k or so, then you scrap it, fuel costs aside, has it really cost you appreciably more than a boggo hatch?

The fact it's still under Mercdes unlimited mileage warranty is a big selling point, but suspect it will end up getting clocked as hasn't yet had first MOT. Good find anyway!

It's like any other warranty only with no mileage limit. Just get it serviced according to the schedule.

Crikey. £1k cheaper for an additional 50k miles on the clock and some cosmetic issues.

Really struggle to see him getting £24k for it, reckon it's more like £22k when you factor in paint and bolster repair. Interesting neither have mention of a new engine whereas every one on autotrader 6 months ago that was over 100k had a replacement (granted that was all 3 of them so not a massive sample!)

That 190k miler AM is so overpriced.

No chance, probably would have been better asking 19,999

Just spotted the damaged grille too. Not a cheap fix.
