Just spotted the damaged grille too. Not a cheap fix.
Mesh grille in the lower bumper has a gaping hole in it as well.

And a very poor quality paint in picture 5

You wouldn't. There seems to be a common misconception that a dealer needs to provide some gold plated warranty with a car. In this instance the DB9 has to be presumed to be end of life and effectively carries the same warranty as a £500 Focus, ie, nothing.

As much as I love my MINIs, I don't think I'd be doing 40k a year in one

The interior doesn't look to have worn very well either and the safety belt looks quite frayed.

Oh, and it's a diesel.

Strange spec. I'd happily do 40k a year in one, but for that I'd at least want a leather steering wheel (preferably the 3 spoke MFSW one) and Pepper pack. Xenons are good, though very strange that they appear to be the only option after metallic paint.

Those service sheets are things that scare the hell out of me, various times it's suffered damage. Not a single month went past without something happening and it goes through tyres less than every 10k typically. Seems like too much money for too many potentially scary problems, I couldn't physically consume enough brave pills for that one.

Must admit I hadn't scrolled across to those service sheets. Bloody Hell! I didn't want it before and I really don't want it now!

worth a punt at 3k, you'd have to be insane to throw 11k at that.

Exactly what I thought.

How can it be worth £11k????

You could spend that again, taking it another 200k miles...

Living in Worcester and traveling the M5 on a regular basis, I used to see that blue 520d (and its sister car a silver 520d) on my travels. I can very much confirm the car was used to its fullest extent and would very often pass me with 'blues and two' going at a fair rate of knots.

It might have been well maintained, but you will certainly need brave pills!!

One a side note, West Mercia Police now have two black 320d's

New tyres every 10k is pretty good given its function and the mileage it racks up.

It's (probably) mechanically sound but has been in a lot of shunts and hit a few kerbs at speed from the service report. I wonder if the data logger is still attached as that would make interesting reading.

For 11k you would have to be mad to go for it though. I bet it looks a lot more 'used' in the metal.

11k is nuts for that blue police car! It is worth half that and even then it is a punt! No desirable kit, no MSport, tiny screen and police on the V5 for resale time too!

Could you imagine buying a car that has been driven flat to the floor for most of its life? Even if they aren't going 'blues' and hitting warp factor 2 they get driven hard most of the time. No warming up, no warming down. In, blast, off. Shift working cops eating bad food in the car and farting...

So they can be a bit interesting to drive. I had an ex police bmw motorbike, it sat quite happily on the motorway at 95mph or so, seemed like that was its sweet spot.

"NOT HAD FIRST MOT YET NUDGE NUDGE"

Not that anyone would buy this and clock it or anything...

And "HAS YOU NO" probably gives you an idea of the genius who is selling it.
