Friend of the family has a Toyota Avensis estate 'R' plate or something. It's done over 2 million miles so far, still on same engine, car is being rebuilt around it !!
If that was me I'd be contacting Toyota scratchchin
Too late for a warranty claim now, surely?

Can you get more info on this please as I have never seen a car manage over 100k per year for more than 3 years, let alone 18!

Not too sure what more I can find out ? My dad keeps saying that it is in fact over 2 1/4 million but posting that just seemed excessive !!

It's obviously just done motorway miles but that would be 10k a month ?

I saw the guy the other day, might see him again so I'll enquire more !!

I know that is the logical answer but just seems miles to low, that would only be about 11k a year which is under average ?

I will try and get to the bottom of this but I guess the mileometers don't go up that high ??!!

2011 WRX STI

Ok well 105,000miles isn't much, but it is alot in 5years I suppose, esp in a performance car, it looks mint. Can't help but feel that £11k is rather much to pay for something that's done 100k already though, regardless of what it is.

That's pretty impressive. But am I the only one who thinks that needs a spoiler to really finish the back end off?

It will also be the second highest mileage car ever made, behind the P1800 Volvo on 3m at the moment.

I'm sure he must be mistaken.

certainly feasible if its spent any time working for a living.

I've averaged more than that a month over the last 4 years. certainly takes it toll though

That looks very similar to a Greater Manchester Police vehicle

Looks well for it too, it'd be interesting to see how it drives. Unless it's had a couple of suspension refreshes I imagine "not well" would be the answer. Might be a decent value family disposable bus for 2/3 years.

That e270 looks a bit over priced?

£2k for a 12 year old Merc with 330000 miles...!

ETA: A few advisories on the last MOT too.

MOT History said:
Advisory notice item(s)
Nearside Rear Seat belt stitching slightly frayed (5.2.2b)
Nearside Front suspension has slight play in a lower suspension ball joint (2.5.B.1a)
Nearside Rear Brake pipe slightly corroded (3.6.B.2c)
Offside Rear Brake pipe slightly corroded (3.6.B.2c)
And rear seat belt frayed suggests taxi?

And it only just qualifies as an 04, given that it was first registered on 26th January 04. It's an 03 really!

Surely there must be some missing pixels on this display and there is meant to be a decimal point?

http://ww3.autoscout24.de/classified/282481915?asr...

Otherwise, 3,089,333 kilometres in 10.5 years, which translates to 1.91M miles or 500 miles a day.

Also, whether it's 2 million or 200k miles, €15k seems optimistic.

Looks like it's legit - this is a similar age Sprinter with 200k miles.

Average of 3500
Miles a week, certainly feasible for a commercial with more than One driver
