That looks amazing but £19k to £24k seems strong.

2010 Hyundai i30 1.6d. 188k

Current stop gap until company car arrives.

Very dull but flew through mot and never misses a beat:

Not bad on fuel either!
That has added very well, better than a lot of the premium rivals.
added? wink
There's a few i30 Police cars around. I don't think they'll make 100k never mind 188k.
he meant aged.

I may be mistaken...but think that's either been for sale before or for a while; think it was seen in these parts last year...maybe...

I'm sure I recognise those pics from an owner thread in the AM forum on here.

It was an ex airport taxi! Terrible bodywork but unusually for a Mk IV Mondeo it drove very well!

Drivers seats steering wheels gear knobs are all service items. Factor it into the price when bidding.

Gutting, my Mk2 Galaxy (basically a MkIV Mondeo) spun a bearing at 101,000 miles, making it an economic write off.

261,000 on a Smart ForFour!

Looking at its MoT history, it did 80k over 1 year!

Subaru Impreza Turbo Wagon at 700k miles.

Not sure if this is just a typo though and its meant to be 70k miles?

Fairly sure that is a typo, but even still the milage in the MOT history makes for some interesting reading...

It has had a haircut or 2 in its time!

Why don't the police or MOT test centre pick up on this and give out the necessary fines ?

Have we had this beauty yet? I don't believe it frankly - they've probably clocked it "up" to generate a bit of interest!

Yes, covered previously. Consensus was that the speedo is faulty, previous MOT records don't back the reading up.

Greetings all
Have had 2 Mondeo man 2.0 tdci.
Bought both with circa 120k, did 30k per year and sold when 250k. Both services regularly.
Motorway mpg = 62.5mpg car 1
63.2 mpg car 2
In 8 years, brake pads and discs, fuel filters, 10 headlight bulbs, 16 wiper changes, numerous tyres and a rear calliper change, back box on each.
Absolutely faultless motorway cruiser, so bought an Auto Titanium, again with 123k and fish.
Happy days ahead, hopefully
DD

Were they MK3 or MK4 Mondeos?

I remember hearing about all sorts of horror stories on the MK3 TDCI engines, but good to hear some positives to balance it out. Mondeos are great cars, will be interested to hear how you get on with your new one.
