It's 18 months old.

So 43k miles a year
Much more reasonable and, as you said, achievable.

3 year old Kia with 220k miles on. MOT history confirms it.

those miles are nuts. I wonder what things like their average speed was? hours travelled per day etc...
Yeah that's insane, 70k per year might be our highest annual average yet!

Think it's a touch overpriced though and that 7-year warranty will be long gone as it's capped at 100k

Surprised that 911 turbo hasn't been broken for parts at that price.

I can do more than that going round bca sites sadly not in an rs6

800 miles a week is just a busy sales rep

It's like going from London to Preston on Monday then visiting multiple sites around nw then going back to London at end of week.
RS6 justification?

Self employed, doing ok, no hobby time left so put hobby money into the Rs6, add in the premium for certainty of being able to get anywhere as quickly as possible in any weather, carrying anything other than you'd need a transit van for, then, compare the difference with the alternate hum drum and the additional cost might be worth it = man maths?

Some people don't need man maths. We have a successful sales rep on our team, she's ruthless at hitting her numbers, consistently meeting target qtr after qtr. as such she grosses in the region of £180k. In the course of her job, like plenty of busy sales reps, she covers 50k a year.

She lives alone. She likes shiney things. Handbags, jewellery, cars. She also loves cars. She doesn't need to justify it to herself, she buys whatever car she wants, keeps it until bored then starts again. I've known her for about 6 years and I've seen:-

Jag xfr
C63 amg
E92 m3
And an rs6 just like the above.

Long story I know, but there must be plenty of people about who just earn well and spend a chunk of it to drive a nice (and fast) car.

Exactly I very much doubt an rs6 over 18 months and 65k miles costs much more than a Range Rover TDv8 with toys and is a comparable bargain to Maserati Grandturismo.

I've not "heard" anyone on here saying the RS6 was bad for the first owner. In fact, I think that it has been great for the first owner.

All the negative comments have been about the price of the car to the 2nd hand market. Is it worth £50k+ now?

Hot on the heels of Sunday's TG, who wants 621,000 mile Volvo?

Well said.

There are owners out there who simply love great cars. The fact they'll drive them, lots, is just a compliment to the vehicle.

I think praise be to those who have run a larger engine petrol car for decent miles.

That Volvo shouts ex taxi - MOT every 6 months. Part of me wants to buy it, just to tell people it's mileage!

It's got Volvo uk plates on it so probably one of their ex-airport run scheme cars.

It can easily be done, when i was on the road in my sales role i was covering a territory that was anything north of Derby, at the time i was living in Herts, in fact a couple of miles from Junction 8 of the M1.

I used to average about 4-5k miles a month, started off doing this in a variety of economical cars.
The company got bought out by another company and i ended up with a fuel card. I decided i needed to get something a bit comfier for the motorway trips, and it needed to be a V8, so i got a Lexus LS430.
Sold it to a local airport driver when it reached about 300k and i got a new job with no fuel card.

No mileage listed but MOT history shows 199,000 back in September. The asking price must be well under book though?

Works for me. It's a very badly written advert!

Couldn't live with the silver trim with the beige interior.

Have we had these yet? Are there any better places to while away 40k miles a year?

£16k in the window but up for £12.5k.
