Oooooohhhh. How about this beauty. £100k depreciation and it still looks like new.

What a barge that'd be!
Can it really still be worth £10k though?!

Would say so, or not that far off ,doesn't look materially any different to one with 50k on, anything it will have needed will have been done to get it to that mileage.

I would say it needs quite a bit knocking off.

It's a 251k mile 09 plate, you can buy an 08 plate with 65k fewer miles for £1,150 less.

I see what you're saying, but the one being discussed here has matching Dunlop tyres all-round and a Lexus history - clearly been well looked after.

The one I think you've seen (silver?) is on budgets with no mention of history.

I know where my money would be, even with more miles.

Still a very nice place to do another 100,000 miles

My father in law bought one of these on an 08 for £40k must of been about 2009, height of recession. Lexus Birmingham with 30k on clock. Sold it back to them 8 months later for £37k with only a few extra miles on. They were a bit dull to drive but the acceleration was rapid with electric motor. The ride is ultra smooth, only a faint tyre noise. Sound system also amazing, 20 speaker or something like that. Best of all is the interior, quality was right up there. Id have one tomorrow. Plus it felt a lot better screwed together that the 2009 Range Rover it was replaced with that rolled and rattled.

I bet he's still happy that he had that Lexus owner experience with hindsight smile

I'd love one
It doesn't pretend to be a sports car but it looks very very well engineered. I once had a 08 T-Spirit Avensis estate as a stop gap car. I was impressed with how well it was fitted together.

Someone who used to work with me had one identical to that. I still see occasional photos of it on Facebook with stuff like #AudiLuxury and #luxurysportscar written as a caption.

I wonder if it's him

ETA: Has it got 253k miles on it, or is that a typo and it's really 25,300 miles?

£4k sounds a lot for a 6 year old supermini with that mileage on it

Mothistory says it's correct.

From the history both seatbelts have wear. It's a ex learner car I bet.

Yes, the mileage is genuine! I wouldn't pay that much for it personally, but someone out there will!

Cheapest on Autotrader. Next is £5250 for a 140k example.

Yeah it's priced right, if you want an A1 on the cheap you won't find one for less! Still nicer than a lot of other cars you'd get for £4K

By this thread's standards that's hardly run in! I'll bet on them being decent.

A knackered turbo, injector(s), or inlet piping can also cause it.
