So we can assume in order for the car to pass it's MOT it was either bodged or someone spent a load of cash on it?

Less than 10k for a one lady owner targa 996?

http://www4.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

EDIT: The MOT history suggests it 133k miles in 2010, 31k in 2011 and 170k in 2012. Odd.

Also, the reasons for failure in 2016...how do you fail for so many easy to fix things!

Nearside Headlamp aim not tested (1.8.A.1c)
Offside Headlamp aim not tested (1.8.A.1c)
Nearside Headlamp not working on dipped beam (1.7.5a)
Offside Headlamp not working on dipped beam (1.7.5a)
Nearside Headlamp not working on main beam (1.7.5a)
Offside Headlamp not working on main beam (1.7.5a)
Offside Rear fog lamp not working (1.3.2b)
Rear fog lamp tell tale not working (1.3.1b)
Offside Registration plate lamp not working (1.1.C.1d)
Nearside Front Front position lamp(s) not working (1.1.A.3b)
Offside Front Front position lamp(s) not working (1.1.A.3b)
Front Windscreen wiper not operating automatically when switched on (8.2.1b)
Front Windscreen washer provides insufficient washer liquid (8.2.3)
Offside Front Anti-roll bar linkage has excessive play in a ball joint (2.4.G.2)

Something like an intercooler pipe that's split will cause smoke. Easy to fit one and re-test in a day.

It's very easy to fix the emissions if there is a 1.0 Micra on the ramp next to the test bay wink.

The online MOT should give the readings as well as the result to prevent this bdodge

It might not be high for it's age but for a ferrai i'd consider it rather high.

There's a big back story to that car I reckon - last MOT'd at 146,000km/91k miles in 2014. Advert states it's a 635CSi and a 2.8.

I also think it's one for the overpriced cars thread.
