I really don't get the fad of making your car look like it's f ked up... FTLOG why? I want to give the impression I don't give a f k about my wheels... Well that succeeded. Get some paint on it and make it look as good on top as it does underneath (as you obviously do give a f k and it isn't a shed). You're not listening are you......I don't give a toss....otherwise I would paint it wouldn't I. Bored with polishing cars....I told you. Best fun I ever had in a car was my 66 C2 vette 427, drove very well but paint was horrid....I drove it everywhere and parked it wherever I wanted without a care. As soon as I paint a car I'm scared to use it.

It's meant to have a DAB radio but the mine doesn't oddly enough. It has all the other stuff mind. I would advise just saying 'Seat Ibiza' rather than 'Seat Ibiza DAB', makes you sound a bit of a spod.

Her: "What, that bodykitted old Golf?"
Me: <pretends I didn't hear that one>

HER - 'You are polluting the world with that old noisy car' ME - 'No, actually I am saving the world by keeping an old car from land fill, and stopping a new car being produced. These are far more damaging to the environment.' HER - 'Well, I still think you should sell it get a normal car' ME - 'Can you explain how that helps the environment please?'

No, unless you're doing very few miles a new car will be better for the environment than an old stinky one.
Although looking at your garage you don't have any old cars really.

Although looking at your garage you don't have any old cars really. My 911 is 17 years old and based on a 50 year old design. I suppose it depends on your definition of old, but she thought it was. MTR

Although looking at your garage you don't have any old cars really. It seems these days that to many people anything over 5 years old is an old car and over 10 years old/100,000 miles is knackered!

Pretty much the main comment I hear when talking about my Mk6 ZS, is 'Should/could have bought an ST' or words to that effect..
Yes, I could have bought one. I would have loved to. But running costs and fuel costs would have been too much for me at the moment.. Ok?
Good thing about my car is that it doesn't tend to attract a huge amount of attention so I don't really have to deal with numpties.

I've got a BMW X3 - it's my second one - there are many keyboard warriors out there who've never even sat in one and yet will spout forth many Clarkson'isms to portray me as a total social pariah, ignorant, thick and just stupid for not buying an estate instead of a 4x4 (they handle much better dontcha know....). Owning an X3 is worse even than drink driving sometimes I think <donsflamesuit>

And dont forget that every new car produced will have to be scrapped eventually and not everything can be recycled. Electric cars are especially poor in this respect due to their batteries. MTR
