Hate to admit it but i do like the Evoque - even though it is a marketing hype and con.But better off buying used RR rather than new Evoque

I still can't get over the point that buying an Evoque meant you couldn't afford a proper RangeRover.

And I wouldn't pay 80k if Victoria Beckham was in it with the car (not sure if that makes it worse actually)

The Evoque is a very nice car that will doubtless sell by the arseload. However, it is not close to 80k nice.

I agree with Jeremy Clarkson on the Evoque. in one of his rare serious moments he stated that once he drove the car it made him feel that he did not need a proper Range Rover.

I am quite astonished by how capable this car is as well. probably the most versatile car on sale in Britain today, What other car could you hustle down B roads, then go properly off road, and then (via the car wash) park outside the ivy?

Very rarely does a car company aim for a new target market and hit it so squarely on the head.

I'm just astonished by how ugly it is.
As I couldn't stomach looking at the wretched thing I'll never know how capable it is.

And Range Rovers used to have a lovely classic look, such a shame they have chavved out

Been seeing Evoque's around here for a couple of years. I like them. Of their size class they are probably the best looking SUV
