I'd be interested in views on this too, the Corsas on the Evora are £750 each from lotus! I can get them for around £400 online, but there are toyo and Falken FK452 options too, which are cheaper still. I always used to use toyos on the cerb and falkens on the m5 with no bother.
T1Rs, as we spoke of previously, have been very good on my last three cars. I've just put more on the 200 and they're great. Camskill.co.uk always good IME.

I'm not a Pirelli fan, though I have them on a car at present. I'd look at Michelin PS, Continental Sport and Bridgestone as alternatives. 400 a tyre is rather strong in any case. The 750 must have been a Bahar pricing decision. IME 255 19s were 250 a pop, as were 285 18s.

T1Rs will last about twelve minutes on something as heavy as an ML - they're very soft.

You'd be better off with Falken 452s at the cheaper end (work well on my Jag).

20s on the rear of the Evora, wich pushes up the price a tad smile

I was talking Evora rather than ML. Deej reckons he already sees off 6 litre Ferraris in his ML as it is, I doubt he needs more grip.

The word "excessive" springs to mind.

Indeed, I wouldn't have ordered them if I was ordering my car from new, but they do look nice smile

Such a fantastic car to drive, quick rather than fast but what a superb chassis set-up and the steering is wonderful.

Toyos here on the hog.

No complaints.

Had them on my Zetec-s. again excellent but didn't last long.

Spoke to the seller of this today. He bought it from Ecclectic cars a few years ago and gave it on SOR to Avantgarde but it did n't sell. He said has had 3 other E28 M5s and this is the best one he's had and he's only selling as he wants to buy Avantgarde's Hartge modded one.

Going to try and get there to have a look at it tomorrow.

I've got T1Rs on the Puma, not sure how long they last as I've got a habit of puncturing them.

But they are good and at £200 for a set if they only lasted 10,000 miles I wouldn't feel ripped off.

The T1Rs i had on an old car were decent; as said, they're a bit soft, giving decent grip, and are reputed to have a good wet tread pattern. The one downside I found was quite soft sidewalls, to the extent I could actually feel them flex under hard cornering, which was a little disconcerting at first. This was on a rice mobile with hard coilovers, though, so experiences may vary smile

I stuck Falkens my NSX; they seemed pretty decent for the price, although the tyres they were replacing were so fked that Linglongs would probably have been an improvement! smile

I plumped for Dunlops SP Sport 'fast response' on the integra because A: it was all they had in stock and B: Nobody seems to do the Bridgestones anymore?! Perhaps another budget choice?

They are proving to be very good. They squeal under load but I'm yet to break traction, not amazing in the wet though.

Had I known I'd of gone for the Falkeln track day tyres. They are only £79 a corner however I paid £110 frown
