I think it's been up here before, although it's no less tempting the second time around.

£7.6k for an 180,000 miler seems keen, but it has has a lot of work done, including new suspension. And it's quite close... I could even try to pop up this afternoon...

I believe the trains from London town to Bedford are running normally today, 40 mins to here from St Panc, Sandy is about 9 miles away so I should be able to drop you over for a viewing, meaning that you could of course, buy it there and then and drive it home tonight.

Just think, tomorrow morning you could have an black E34 M5 parked outside.

Almost at the four-figure price bracket and without an overly high mileage.

Does anyone else think that shorn of ///M badges, these are incredibly discreet little things, especially in Böringsilbergrau?
That's quite sublime. I think, in a few years time, these will become quite loved. Last of the straight sixes, styling that works really well in M form and it's a great drop top. Like

Thanks for the offer. I'll just get the £7.6k in readies that I keep for just such a scenario out from under the mattress and see you at 2:30? wink

Does look a nice car though. As a kid I always wanted an E34, now I'd rather an E28 or an E39.

Think I need to drive something from that era to spark the flame. As it is, stuff that old may as well be steam trains for all the attraction they hold. Struggle to really see them as cars...

Ben, a friend has asked if I could find out a rough monthly lease cost for an Elise. I've seen just under £500, does that seem about right?
