I've never driven one, have always wante to drive and own one but just cannot bring myself to spend so much money that a Mini commands.

Can't say I am a massive fan of small cars though, so I couldn't face blowing all that cash on one - especially seeing how rusty the ones I have seen at shows are.

Minis are properly fun things to drive, slow, noisy, uncomfortable at times, but considering they were built to be basic cheap transport and nothing more their ability as a driving tool is incredible. Even the most modern ones need the TLC of a very old car though.
I just wish I could find my first one.

Never driven a Mini and I would look like an idiot in one but the PS edition is very cool.

Thing is, as a daily, ideally I'd prefer something a bit bargey and obviously its not something to be kept aside as a fun car. Part of a fleet yes, though. Oh and that 968 Didn't say dream car, merely a great car day to day. Still has to be room for the interesting/fast/expensive to run/ mad car.

I just know you've all got to be under 40 When I learnt to drive it was almost always the intro to driving....and if you didn't own one at least 2 of your friends did at some point!

I first drove a Mini before I turned 17 and I'm well under 40, so there's still hope for some of us. I love Minis, but I'm not that fussed on the Paul Smith one.

If I was to buy a late mini it would be a PS or a Cooper Sport, with the PS being favourite.

I am 20 Would still like a go in one at some point! A mate is slowly doing one up (well, paying another mate to do it in his spare time) and another guy from school had one. The latter rolled it on the Dores road (up to Loch Ness) and the roof was virtually level with the bonnet It did look good fun, and I was promised a go before it died
